Help Finding 3000Gt/Stealth
Hi, I've been searching for a 3000Gt VR4 for about 5 months not and getting a bit discouraged, I've been mostly looking on auto trader, and kijij.
I was wondering if there was some where else i should be looking or how any of you found yours. My budget is very tight at the moment so I've been looking for one for about $5000-$7000. I know for that price I'm not going to find a perfect car but I'd at least like it to be in decent condition. The last few I've looked at seem to have the crap beaten out of them, dents on every panel, in desperate need or a good paint job , interior ruined... Thanks in advance Jeramie. |

Re: Help Finding 3000Gt/Stealth
Your going to find that every Vr4 for teh most part has been driven hard and probably from someone who doesnt know all that much about them or respects them. For that price range you'll find one with some problems. Try and search on here.. on 3si and look at the normal ones.. cars.com, vehix.com stuff like that.
Good Luck |

Re: Help Finding 3000Gt/Stealth
I search craigslist a lot if you live in a deciently populated area. Otherwise, register on 3si.org and look in the "cars for sale" section as there are usually plenty for sale there.

Re: Help Finding 3000Gt/Stealth
I found mine in the for sale section of 3Si for $6,400. Your budget is pretty realistic, at least for a 1st gen.
Chances are you're not going to find one local. I had to go across the country for mine. |

Re: Help Finding 3000Gt/Stealth
Tight budget and 3s do not go hand in hand. These cars are expensive to maintain so if all you have is $8000 then you better keep saving to have a just in case fund for when, not if WHEN, it breaks.
