99 verse 95 Lesabre ignition parts
My 99 lesabre, custom, is missing here and there sometimes. I also own a 95 lesabre. Just wondering if anyone knows if some ignition parts from my 95 are interchangable with my 99. ie; coil packs, ignition module.

Re: 99 verse 95 Lesabre ignition parts
They both use the same replacement ICM & coils. Have you changed the wires?

Re: 99 verse 95 Lesabre ignition parts
Haven't replaced wires or plugs yet. Seems to stumble a little only after it warms up. Kind of intermittently.

Re: 99 verse 95 Lesabre ignition parts
I would change the wires & plugs first; how many miles on the plugs and are the wires original? You might also try a cooler thermostat for the summer and always use name brand gas like BP, Shell Texaco, or Chevron.

Re: 99 verse 95 Lesabre ignition parts
Changed wires and problem solved. Ohmed them out after and had just one bad wire. I'll keep the others for my other buick lasabre. Thanks for the help.
