91 park ave. 3800 , please help

this is not the super but i post the other day talking about the noise i fixed on my brother car. he begin going home this morning n the car was driving good until he went over the train tracks. then from that point on the car started acting alittle weird like driving rough. he got a mile down the road n could not drive it no more. it cranks but the motor sounds rough n it cuts off. could this be the timing please help

Welcome to AF. Check for spark and injector pulse or fuel pressure, basic diagnostics for a no start. Look under neath see if there is any damage especially around the balancer.

i did all of the above n those r ok. i put a new balancer on it but i m just finding out from my brother that bracket behind the balancer he put it over the crank sensor or does this matter because it belong behind the bracket.
