I know Tiny but this doesn't sound like the Tiny that I have meet. He has his shop in Jefferson and the # is 706-708-6649. He answered my call today on the second ring today. I am Mike @ 770-598-6529.

Not the Tiny I know either. He was with us at Road Atlanta Saturday and Sunday and has my car at his shop right now. I know he moved not to long ago and maybe you're just not calling the right place?

Re: anyone know where STEVE tiny WHITE my money and motor are missing

yes... I have known Tiny for more than 1 yr now ..I have even had him stay at my home here in florida when he came down to work on my gts... he had my car {silver gts} in his shop many months for a rebuild even when he was working on your car .... he even used your waterpump on one of my motors to get it to me on time..... but now he has not returned my calls and he does this when he does not want to face something... its happened before.....it has been months that he has my motor back... he has my headers carb exhaust etc ...I am hoping enough people read this to get him to call and get me my motor back.... chip valente

Well that doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy... I would have given it up anyway, but I would liked be asked first. Are you sure of this?

Edit: BTW, what was wrong with your water pump in the first place?

I beleive that it was your car that was the one ... the new motor I purchaced { while he was and still is rebuilding my old motor} showed up without one and he was bringing the car down to sebring for me .... i beleive you got the new one when it arrived.... you may have seen the car at his shop or on his web site while he was rebuilding everything on the car....it also makes me wonder where all the parts to my motor are .... if you have any questions or want to hear the whole story feel free to call me 941 627 9095 my office will connect us chip valente

Re: anyone know where STEVE tiny WHITE my money and motor are missing

Guys, I am sorry to hear about all of this. I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE....why does the mechanic career path automatically demand a pre-requisite of being a poor businessman???? I am so tempted to have a career change and do this stuff full time! Now that would be fun!

I have said this before, I have a VERY reputable engine builder in Riviera Beach, FL that can build anything (Mike from Total Engine Concepts "TEC"). He has built radial aircraft engines (awesome), little ricer engines, motorcycles, lots of Porsche engines, 12 cyl. Ferrari engines (wild looking), HUGE GM guy, etc. and of course he has done 2 new and 2 rebuilds for me. I cannot say enough about this guy. If you buy a motor from him and do your first event in Florida he will come to the track for free and make sure its setup and tuned correctly. He is a Trans-AM road racer from the '80's and REALLY knows his stuff.

He builds all the engines for Mosler cars.

He is honest and on top of his business. His prices are top notch. It sounds too good to be true! I have used 4 other engines in the GTS and nobody compares to TEC

Re: anyone know where STEVE tiny WHITE my money and motor are missing

Tiny has worked on my Panoz GT-RA for over one year. I have found him to be honest and his work excellent. I would highly recommend Tiny to any of my friends who need a good mechanic. In fact, I have done so and the feedback I have received from them supports my conclusions stated herein. I spent this past weekend with Tiny at the track and his assistance was invaluable.

I called Tiny after reading cvgt3's post. I had no trouble getting in touch with him. He addresed the issues raised by cvgt3 in his post openly, honestly, and without hesitation. He was very candid about what transpired, and the reasons for and the facts supporting his decisions relating to cvgt3. He said he has discussed this matter with cvgt3 several times--the last time about a month ago. He said he will be calling cvgt3 again to discuss the matter further. Based on my experience with Tiny, I do not believe he would take advantage of a customer; he has treated me fairly in all our business dealings.

My car will be back at Tiny's shop in about a week for some additional improvements. I have no reservations whatsoever with regard to having Tiny work on my car.

Regards

Chip, I did a search for "Tiny" on here and found this post by another person apparently associated with Tiny. Perhaps he can help:

Then I did a search on the internet for "WB Motosports" and found this:
