03 Impala Blower

I've seen a variety of problems described for the blower motor scenarios, but has anyone found that the switch itself has failed? Mine will usually work on hi, but not always. If you fidget with the fan speed knob, it will often come back to life and work on all speeds for a bit (which would seem to indicate the resisitor is ok). I had sprayed contact cleaner into the shaft area and it came back for a month or so, but now it's flaky again. Moving the switch around will generally get me some if not all speeds, and then it will randomly fail while powered on. Anyone with similar symptoms who has a fix?

Your fan control switch could be the culprit ? Have you checked it ?

I've yet to pull the assy. You cannot buy the switch separately, it's sold as a module for $275. I'll source one from a wreckers instead.
