1996 Taurus Code PO430

I was hoping someone has corrected this code on their Taurus previously. The description is “Catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2)”. I would appreciate any help.

There are a few threads on a code P0(zero)430 already, have you glanced through them? I don't see where many have posted back with what it took to fix theirs unfortunately, but it may give you some things to check.

Other than the code, does the car seem to run fine? Have you given the car a tune up recently (plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc.)?
