Fujimi Fat Tires

I got my first Fujimi kit, opened it, took a look at the tires... took a look at the box art.... took a look at the tires again... *sigh*

I love Tamiya

You can now see why they have a huge aftermarket section now ...because you have to spend more money to get better rims/tyres

Expecting Fujimi to have anything to exact scale is futile. It's similar to expecting a good Russian car. I wish Tamiya would make as wide a range as Fujimi though. Fujimi definately has better subject matter.

I was really upset when I got my Spoon Teg & CTR. The Spoon SW388'S look nothing like the real thing. The Spokes are way too skinny and are rounded when they should actually be flat and broad. It was a big letdown.

After I baught a fujimi kit and a hasegawa kit, I realized just how damn good Tamiya is . More expensive, but Tamiya kits are way better than the crapy hasegawa streetcars and fujimi cars. I dida side by side comparision with a fujimi R32 body and a Tamiya r32 body, you can see a huge difference, I'll see if I can get pics soon

the fujimi aftermarket rims and tires are about 12 bucks at legend hobby (store at puente hill, CA).... they look nice (from the box), but damn.. 12 bucks... my revell integra was only 9.99 at walmart..

$12 is WAY too much for rims, esspiecially if it's made by fujimi, the real price of those rims are probably 50 cents
