Removing "in park" rev limiter
So I'm contemplating getting my exhaust and Flowmasters after I get the engine rebuilt and the other day, I had a fart can Civic pull up next to me and start asking questions like" is that an ex cop car, "Yes". "Looks quick for a grandma car". Really?, ok so I put it in neutral to give him a little taste and vrooo...m....rev limiter. Tha's what it sounds like to me. Even in the owner's manual, says it has a rev killer. Cuts in @ about 4 large. But only in park. So after I waste his crap can down Pelham Parkway in the BX, I'm wondering "what fun are Flows gonna be if I can't exercise some bark with my bite"? (plan a small 50 shot after the rebuild as well). Any body know how to discombobulate it w/out screwing anything else up? I say this because I figured how to kill the DRL's but lost my flash to pass feature as well.

Re: Removing "in park" rev limiter
I think it could probably be disabled with a scan tool...but it's there for a reason...quickest way to have your whirly bits seek communion with the sun...revving in neutral.
Engine only has like a 5500 soft redline anyway...why tempt fate?
