98 tahoe 1345 code

i just changed the camshaft positioning senser (code 1345) the engine light comes on and the code still appears

P1345 code usually indicates that the distributor has not been installed correctly and may indicate distributor gear wear. You really need a decent scanner to fix, one that can read operational data especially cam retard
