Cops impounded my SiR as suspected of being stolen :(
Well just had 4 cops over here and they impounded my SiR for suspecting it is stolen. Apparently it was a "hot" import from Japan.
 Searched the whole house for stolen stuff as well. Car has just gone to the impound yard 'till I produce all the reciepts for it. They also want me to go in for an interview FUCKING ****S

Dude that sucks major donkey balls, you gotta love pigs. I hope you do get this straightened out real quick man. Our cars are having enough problems stayin in one piece, we shouldn't have to worry about BS like this man.

How did the cops know that it was a stolen car? They couldnt have just looked at it parked in front of your house, and say... "...that car was stolen from Japan, lets bust his ass, mate!" They must have checked the VIN # somehow. Thats just too weird. I hope all of this gets straitned out. Keep us posted on all the news. Again, I am sorry to hear bout this.

Shit!
What the fuck is wrong with owning a god damn EF Civic? They are being written off what one a week? And now not even the EF9s are safe! Hopefully the cops will be proven wrong, but on the good side the car is still in one piece, and you can still try and buy it back from the Auctions. On the down side it would leave you rather a lot out of pocket.

hope it all gets straightened out, and if the cars not stolen and the cops r wrong then take em to court for false arrest of ur car hehe... but i'm sure if everythings legal with the car u can take them to court for something

That really sux about your car. I have never had a godo encounter with a cop. They all mess with your head even if you didn't do anything wrong. Hopefuly you can come up with all the paper work soon so you can get it back. Good luck with it all.

that sux....brought back memories of my nx2000.....had 3 cops with their hands on their guns and me, my bro , and his girl not knowing what's going on....long story short....got handsuffed, car got impounded b/c they said my car was stolen ever when i showed them the purchase papers....turned out the peoson who reported it stolen had it repossesed
