Okay, go here

Is that actually a car, or is it a model? It looks like a model to me.

a model... look @ the wheels! but it probably isn't because why would Ferrari post a pic of a model?

Exactly! I know there are models that look exactly like that (challenge with same paint/decals), but I just couldn't figure out whey Ferrari would do that.

It is a model, it's the 360 Challenge by Bburago. I have the normal one and I saw the exact same car at the place. If you look close enough, It dosen't have the disc brake calipers. It also looks too fake.

That is actually a picture of a real Ferrari 360 Challenge car, it is NOT a picture of the bburago version. That picture was taken directly from the 2000 Ferrari brochure. The picture in the brochure is bigger, so you can tell that it is actually a real car. I was able to see a poster sized version of this picture when I took a tour last September of the Ferrari Factory in Maranello, Italy. In the poster sized version it is very easy to see that the car is real. I believe the tour guide said the picture was taken in their wind tunnel building at the factory.

I also own the bburago version of this car and, trust me, it doesn't look this good! Don't get me wrong, bburago makes great models and own about 50 of them, but they don't look that good. You can see the brake calipers if you look closely, the challenge rims just make them difficult too see.

Hope this info helps.

If it's a model, it's a Tamiya!
Otherwise it could be real.

You'll have to trust me on this one, it is a real Ferrari challenge car.

See my previous post for info on how I know this.

I concur with you, fletch. That there is the real deal. I don't know about you all, but I like the F355 Challenge better'n than the 360.

By the way. Any of you guys ever play F355 challenge? Damn, that is such a badass game! Everything is so real, except the feel of the shifter.
