Camshaft Position Sensor out of sequence

My son and I changed the water pump and timing belt, tensioner and rollers on his 2000 jetta 1.8L turbo gas automatic.

It started and ran perfectly, but shortly showed trouble codes as follows:

17748/P1340 Camshaft Position Sensors (B2) - Out of Sequence or Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incorrect Correlation

17978/P1570 Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer

17522/P1114 - O2 Sensor: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High

17521/P1114 - O2 Sensor: B1 S1: Internal Resistance too High

I don't want to just tear it down again before asking you all if this is something common to a possible misalignment of the cam to crank timing.

Any help is welcome.

Thank you
