Exclamation Grand prix window problem helppp!!!!!!!!

I have a 2000 grand prix gt coupe. My car sat for about 2 months and my windows were working just fine before that. I got my licence back and started it up 2 days ago and after the 3rd time rolling them up and down my drivers side window would not roll up JUST DOWN. I played with the controls for a minute and it went back up. I then accidentally rolled it down again and then tried messing with the controls for a little (20 minutes) and the controls started smoking and it went up very slow (im afraid to roll it down lol ) . Now Today my girlfriend tried rolling the window up from the passenger side and it wont work from the passenger door but only from the driver door i can roll it up (BUT ITS VERY SLOW.) SOme one please HELP THANKS .....!!!!

Welcome to AF.

You may have a bad master switch assembly at the driver's side door. The passenger power window gets it 12 volts from the driver's side switch. Also, one of the motor/actuators or regulator assembly may be bad. In others words more than one cause.
