Fliquer did you buy rotors from iROTORS some1 with the same handle left a /msg there with a complant on eBAY. Something about them being too big so you had to grind them down to fit the clipers!?!?!

lol damn you must have been observant to notice that. wow
Yea that was me. Turns out the front rotors they sent me were too large in diameter for stock calipers, and I had to have the calipers sand ground a couple millimeters to fit them. I wouldve contacted them about a refund or a replacement, but I needed my car to have working brakes the next day. iRotors responded saying they wouldve tried to work something out with me, and I semi-believe them. Looking back, I think it probably would have been a better idea to either get some stock replacement rotors or spend a little more for brembos. Normal rotors have more surface area and provide better stopping power. The drilled ones are pretty much for looks, and I dont think they're worth the extra $ (I paid about $200 incl shipping for the set when I couldve gotten stock ones for less than $100).

if you want to upgrade to the 300zx rotors it is much easier if you just upgrade your calipers, and brake cables as well. I could be wrong on this but I think that upgrade only works for the front and not the rear. Unless you are in dire need of the extra stopping power I would just go with stock replacements. I wish you the best of luck in this project.

300zx brakes calipers bolts right one to the hub. all you gotta do is take out the lugs and replace them longer 300zx ones.

okay ive decided to just go with some rotors that fit directly with out any moding. I wanted to do the 300zx swap but thats gona take too much time and money, besides i dont realy need all that stoping power. Anyone know what kinda of rotors i should get, back to my question about the slotted and drilled thing. i found some Brembo just drilled, like $180 or something but Fliquer said that Drilled is just for looks?!?!?! im lost now :help: !!!

Yea go for the drilled brembos. Slots might make noise when they scrape against the pads.
Unless you go track racing on a regular basis, holes and slots arent going to do you any good. If you really want better stopping power then you'll need bigger rotors and better calipers.
