axels and e/t time on 91 gsr hatch
i have two questions i have a 91 civic with a 95 GSR engine and my axles keep breaking and my engine isnt any ordinary gsr i have dyno'd it to 250+ hp so any suggestions on what might help it hold up better and also i was wondering how quick my car might go in the quarter with a 95 gsr engine with a stage 3 clutch and 250+ hp on 15 inch enkeis on street slicks also its a dx if that changes anything (weight wise)
thanks |

Hmmm, maybe you're pushing too much power through econo shafts that were designed for fuel economy and 100 hp. Get the integra shafts.

so is it a 90 or 91?
you are breaking axles on street radials? I've seen +250hp cars launch on drag radials pulling 2.0 60ft's with napa brand axles. i dont see how you can be breaking them with no traction. dont 4th gen civics/crx's have radius arms from factory anyways? you are on a light chassis. expect high 12's on at least drag radials with a good driver. on wrinkle wall slicks you'll probably break your differential/axles

if you're looking for some axles call this number... 514-489-2018... it's the axles that nopi is actually just starting to carry, i would give you a name of the company but I don't know it off the top of my head... if you've got any concern that this is bogus call nopi and they'll tell you the name of the company and the phone number that I just provided... I'm gonna be needing new axles soon and I was told by one of the guys at nopi who's been a real big help to me to call this number and they'll be able to get me what I need for the amount of power I'm pushing down.
