Engine shuts off at a slow to stop

Recently my car starting dogging when i started going at a constant speed. 40-60 mph, would dog for a few seconds and then stop dogging and drive fine. The other day there was liquid underneath the car, test showed it to be water, appearing to be from the AC, so i have quit using the AC since then. The car has turned off 3 times when i slow around 10 mph or stopped. It doesn't shake and stall out just quietly turns off, so i start it again and it's fine. I have changed the air filter, added fuel injector cleaner about 60 miles ago, and changed all 4 spark plugs(and properly gapped them) I have receieved error codes P0171 and P0133 reset them and they have not turned on again. It's a stickshift, but never have any problems with shifting or anything, just a matter of turning off when i come to a stop. once every 1 to 3 days(done it 3 times so far) Other then that the car runs and starts fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect a vacuum leak around the intake manifold. A leak from a hose will usually cause a shudder, but the stall when coming to a stop seems to usually be from a leak on the manifold.

what does the pricing usually go for to repair those?

The error codes are heated oxygen sensor at it's limits and too lean on mixture bank 1. The oxygen sensor could be the cause of this lean mixture. I would replace the oxygen sensor. There are 2 sensors, one before the catalytic converter and one after the catalytic converter. The one you want to replace is on the engine side of the catalytic converter.

In addition to the above IAC (Idle Air Control)could be dirty and may need to be cleaned. It is loacated on top of the throttle body. It looks like a small motor the size of a C cell battery. It has a wire clip onto it and is attatched to the throttle body with 2 head size 8 mm bolts. Take it off and spray it with WD 40 on both sides of the flange cavities. I doubt that you need a new one because if that were true it would be malfunctioning all the time, not just once in a while. I would do the above before replacing the intake gasket. Coolant flows through the intake gasket and it would be leaking if it was bad. The water from your A/C is condensation and that is normal to the operation of the A/C. There is nothing wrong with your air.

If you should get to a point that you decide to replace the intake gasket, it is an easy job to do yourself, but maybe a little messy with the coolant if not careful.
The gasket costs about $20, plus the coolant refill.
You should expect to pay at least 1.5 hours labor at a shop, so the best deals might be around $150.

My car did this a little over a year ago... just kind of sputtered while cruising down the road and would sometimes stall at the stop. I was unable to find a vacuum leak and suspected a spark plug problem. New plugs and wires didn't do any good. I used a vacuum pump on everything trying to find a small leak and had no luck. Eventually I decided to replace the intake gasket just because I was at a loss for other ideas. The problem never came back.

Use a length of hose as a stethoscope and try to listen between the intake ports for a hissing sound.

The check engine light never came back on after resetting? How many miles since you reset it?

been around 50 miles so far since i reset it and no lights have come back on yet.
