headlight wiring harness?

long story short, my GF got into a hit and run, torn tire cut out all of the harness from the headlights. I have no idea where it originally connected to. So if anyone could help me locate where the wires originally ran to that would be great. (they come from the passengers side.. but thats all i can locate)

Re: headlight wiring harness?

Re: headlight wiring harness?

Autozone changed their online guides, diagrams aren't available anymore. I'm just going to make my own circuit

Re: headlight wiring harness?

got a wiring diagram for the headlights.... and i bought all of the stuff to make the circuit. So my question is using that diagram in the link do i need to have the leads running to the switch from the relay powered?? On other things... i might just end up trying to re-wire everything.. i dunno, whatever is easiest at this point though.

Re: headlight wiring harness?

well, ... spent like $60 on electronics for making that circuit for no reason.. oh well what do you do, i'll use that stuff at some point. I found the remainder of the wires for the headlights/turn signals, so i'm just going to extend them again..

(notice that the cluster is broken, probably from being pulled so hard...)
(assortment of stuff required for circuit picture is just for fun)

----edit-----
Ok... new problem, i'm pretty sure the dark blue is a separate lead for just the hazards, (mounted in bumper) but i have no idea what the plug with the dark green is for.. or what the dark green is even for.. Anyone have any clues? light green is lights, tan is lights, brown is turn, light blue is turn...

---edit round 2----
referencing the diagram it shows the dark blue running from the right side high beam (what should be ground) into the instrument cluster somewhere.... ??? Odd thing there is the leads coming out of both connectors are the same colors, ie blue and black(ground) ... ? If anyone could help me out here that would be great. I told the GF it would be done tonight.. but i'm going to have to consult my guru tomorrow and probably figure out nothing...

Re: headlight wiring harness?

yes it has a year ago it was freely available, now you have to subscribe and the layout has changed. Ether way my diagram is better, and on their diagrams i didn't see anything for the headlights. Ether way, once i figure out what the dark blue is for i'll be golden, going to do that shortly and i'll report back.

--edit--
just realized... ??? i'm confused now, because that dark blue should have been dark green.... I'm still going to ask, but i'm probably just going to end up hooking everything up and hoping for the best.
