Stabilitrak Problem....anyone else
My wife and I have a 2007 Chevy Equinox LT FWD that we really like.
I noticed that if I shut the engine off in neutral and start it again while in neutral, the DIC says "Service Stabilitrak" until you start it from park and drive it a few times. It doesn't matter if I do this while the vehicle is moving or still. I first noticed this when I shut it off in neutral while waiting at a drive-thru. When the "Service Stabilitrak" warning is on the voltage meter fluctuates quite a bit. I observed it going clear down to 12.6V while driving down the road with no accessories turned on and it still says "Battery Voltage Normal." After that it creeps its way back up to 13.8V then starts to very gradually go back down Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to drive/work perfect other than that.

Nobody but me eh? Perhaps no one else has ever started theirs while in neutral?
