Stock Exhausts
One Question, when the ends up your exhaust is building up deposits at the end, do you have to cut that part off because its just pure black for life now? Or take it to a muffler shop and have them clean it or somthing?

If you are talking about the inside of your exhaust pipe, that black stuff is carbon. You can clean that with some kind of (chrome?) polish/cleaner and some elbow grease. If you can't fit your hand in there you can use a cone or small diameter drum shaped buffing wheel (I think you can find that kind of stuff at your local auto parts store or bodyshop supply store). It sometimes is carbon, sometimes just the metal being burned from the heat. Who cares though, why spend money, you know its going to get burned again.

Oh yea.. and my exhaust is like stuck to the rear bumper, from being hit by speed bumps constantly for half a year. Any idea's on how I can get it back down?

I know! Try getting a new exaust you cheap bastard!
You can have a custom one mandrel bent for about the price of an hour with a descent looking hoe... $200 or so.

Hmm.. well I tried that already, and I've tried using leverage of a huge wrench. I read in my auto book for my car that using a hacksaw to cut off the bad end of an exhaust is one method, but I dont wanna resort to that messy method yet. Ideas?

put your foot on it and just stand on it, no just kidding take it to a muffler shop, midas or minakee or something whatever the hell george forman does

I asked my boyfriend if there was a way to get it off and there is. He said you can sand it down and repaint it, but with it being the stock muffler it's going to keep happening. A nice stainless steel muffler would get a little black soot inside but would stay nice on the outside. Mild steel = bad. It will continue to do what is happening now.
I was thinking of just sanding mine and paiting it everytime. I know it's a pain but it's the least I can do to make my car look a little better.

on a stock exhaust its a waste of time, too difficult to keep on with it, but on the stainless one give er a good polish when ever you wash your car and it'll shine for years... my thermal has been for what about 3 years now... inside and out mmmmm god bless thermal
