Converting my hood supports to hood pins... this thing won't move anymore!

Decided that if 2 worked, then 4 were better so I'm converting all 4 hood supports to hood pins.

Bought 2 sets of steel hoodpins (1 shown here w/ the hood supports)


Measured, cut, and welded with rubber bumpers reinstalled



On the car...




Will update when I get the hood drilled and in place

I got desperate prior to the 6 hour on the car weight reduction front. Lots of costfor weight analysis confirmed that the cheapest weight reduction strategy was to hit the gym again......................now I just need to keep it up!!
