01 Honda Cbr600 F4I

This guy wants to swapp me my 250gb ps3 for his 01 cbr600 f4i. He said the only thing thats wrong with it is that the clutch is going out on it. Im currently going to school for automotive mechanics and i have rebuilt transmissions. I was wondering if this was a good deal or would it be a waste of time???

Re: 01 Honda Cbr600 F4I

The problem with buying a used sport bike with problems is you never know what else is wrong. Sport bikes get abused more than other types, so it's hard to say without test riding what the cause of the issue is or what else might be wrong. If the owner has taken it to a shop, and has a repair estimate for clutch diagnosis and a replacement cost quote, then maybe it would be worth trading for if you think you could do the repairs yourself.

he wants to give you his bike in exchange for a PS3? i'd do it. that things probably worth like $3000. if you can't afford to fix it just sell it or part it out, you'll definitely get your money back
