vr4 brake conversion

i gotta 94 sl standard. i gotta few questions.


i got 17 inch wheels ive kinda been haveing some brake issues, and i think i finally got it all figured out. but i think ina year or so i wanted to go with the vr4 brakes on all 4 corner. i think all ill need is.

calipers, rotors (duh right)
proportioning valve
lines maybe????
master cylinder????

any suggestions on where to get everything good and not to pricey? thanks

You need the steering knuckles, rotors and calipers.

Stick with 1g VR4 front brake calipers and skip the rears.

steering knuckels??? is that the caliper braket???

The steering knuckle is what the hub, strut, ball joint and tie rod attach to.

You can't put VR4 brakes on without using the VR4 steering knuckle.

Yes. Rears have very little to do with stopping the car. Besides he 1g VR4 rears aren't much different that NA brakes.

yea ok so the rears r still 2 piston??? r the brake boosters the same on the vr4

The rears on a 1g VR4 are 1 piston, just like NA's. Dont worry about the brake booster.

ok sweet, so just calipers steering knucle and valve. all dealer items huh??
