MRC garage set

Once, probably something like ten years ago, I found and bought a big set of garage tools and diorama parts. If I recall correctly it was branded Estes (yes, the model rocket company) but I probably don't recall correctly and it was probably Ertl or something. In any case, it was very similar to the Fujimi garage tools kit, except it had a lot more stuff, like pistons and engine parts. I wouldn't be surprised if it were a repop of a Fujimi kit or something, but I can't seem to find anything like it on Ebay or anywhere else. Any thoughts?

Really, though, I'm just looking for a set of resin or metal cast pistons. A lot of them (I could make one and cast a lot but for the trouble, if there are any for sale out there, I'd prefer that). Any ideas who might have some?

Also, while we're at it, there was a company that made all sorts of resin diorama parts, like barrels and barriers and phones and desks and things, and I think they were somehow related to Detail Master or Model Car Garage, but I can't seem to find them either. Am I losing my mind? Anyone have any ideas here, either?

Thanks, guys!

Re: MRC garage set

Go to ebay... search for great garages.Comes as an enclosed garage with tools and accessories in 1/24. In 1/43 it's the same and comes with a dodge viper. 1/24 is hard to find but the 1/43 is more readily available . http://cgi.ebay.com/Great-Garages-Do...QQcmdZViewItem

Re: MRC garage set

That's exactly it, jamaicawagon. I'll keep watching ebay for it in 1:24. It's weird that it was in 1:43 too, but now that I think about it, it was. Thanks for finding that! Now I know what to look for.

Those are perfect, tonio! I had forgotten about Scaledreams. That was, and seems to still be, a great site. Thanks so much.

Re: MRC garage set

Happy hunting. It took me a while before I was able to get one. If I can get around to it, I'll find mine and post pics of what it comes with. It's unbuilt and not for sale ,sorry.
