I'm Competing this weekend!
Hey guys I'm going to be competing in the Canadian Sport Compact Championships this SUNDAY. The car is running strong. It threw a cel last night it was a CAS malfunction. THink i found what caused it cleared it and it was ok didn't come back on. Did some tuning and the car seems great!
They actually slowed my class from last year. Before it was 12.5 now they made it 13.0 so I'm a little concerned about running too fast. Solution Bringing the 18's to the track. Last year my best with those on was a 13.3 :S This year my car is def faster so a 13.0 should be still attainable without a problem with them on. Needless to say I'm pretty stoked and will be def making a video last years got rained out. I want to bring home the bank! Hope nothing breaks I'm somewhat concerned about my clutch which has served me really well which is why im worried haha. Your car can deffinately break into the 12s. Do you get disqualified if you run faster than 13.0?

Yea you do. So its a lot of sandbagging at the end if you got a lead to try and keep it over 13.0

1st PLACE full field of 16!!!!!!!
I beat out a 10.8s maxima in the semi's what what!!! And the finals was against the number one qualifier with a 13.002 (I was 6) and he redlighted but I was going to tear him a new one anyways. My car on my 18's could EASILy break 13's on one qualifier I ran a 14.1 @ 109mph muhahah! Talk about sand bagging it. Then my second qualifier I tried it the other way and ran a 13.5 at 88 mph From then on out I was banging off low low 13.s 13.1s and stuff with awesome rt's like .135 and such. I was invincible. And right after I elminated that 10 second maxima my car dies on the deceleration. I get it to the timeslip box and its off. CEL is on Im thinking great I make it to the finals and I blow. Run the code Cam sensor malfunction again> the other guy thinks my car is broken and thinks he gets a walk to the win BUT HE WAS WRONG!! I fixed it and she was purring like a kitten again. He was mad then he was nervous then he jumped. And then he tried to blame it on me. A WHOLE bunch of drama unfolds saying I double lighted him and all this bullshit wants to run again even though I went down the track and so did he and I won. And then he complains to ALL the officials and track guys they deny him basically say too bad. Then he gets his crew and tries to come after me. We exchange words bust out my HD digital cam bring the exact frame of when he red lights up on the screen. He starts swearing saying the track guys were lying and shit (even though they had no reason to they didn't know me) His girlfriend is up in my face telling me I fucked up he's calling me a douchebag. He says admit it you did a douchebag move I told him to go fuck himself. I told him I have to stage first so I have time to bring the studderbox up because its not a sportsman tree is a pro tree so it goes right away. He starts whining more it just ended up getting funny and sad. Take it like a man buddy. But in the end he still got second and was the number 1 qualifier. Almost everyones cars were sub 13.0 2 cars in the first round broke out. That douchebag had a low 12'er I have a mid 12'er the maxima had a 10.8er and I don't know about the others. Nice. You should have handed him a pic of the ricer gauge. So 109mph, how much fast do you think you could get on a full run? Just changing rims should be good for a little another mph or 2. How much boost where you running?

On a full pas I would def be in the 110-112 on the 18's. The 109 was on a 2.3 60ft where I didn't launch and then went balls out after first gear. The 10 second maxima was running both my class and the 11.5 class go figure. He had an auto where he could just flip a switch between a 13.0 map and a 11.5 one. How very convenient. SO needless to say the only way to take him was at the tree. He got a .285 and got a .145 and then we both ran 13.1's making me the winner by a tenth. I was super pumped cause that was last years overall champion! The last guy who qualified first who I met in the finals was a total tool. He complained to the organizer to get a bye because the 2 guys broke out against each other. even though he was supposed to race someone else he made him get the by and then the guy who was supposed to get the bye race the guy he was racing. What a wan wan baby. The maxima owner he's a good guy he won second in the damn 11.5 class too so its kinda unfair but since I ran a pretty much flawless run I took it.
I was running 25psi obviously with the meth. I'm at work right now and have soccer practice after work I guess I'll find some time soon.
