Re: mpfi

75 to 150 w/ used parts - id recommend leaving your stock injector wiring uncut and get more "A" plug pins and run new wires from them, so if you ever needed to go back to dpfi it could be done in flash.

the best thing i have found to depin is a 110/18 sewing machine needle anybody else tryed one

Re: mpfi

these

I wasn't referring to the injector plugs I meant the "A" plug to the ecu

just depin and label A1,3,5,7,15 and put some new pins in and go from there

Re: mpfi

No sense in adding a new ecu plug, even if you go back to dpfi for some odd reason, just reverse what you did, but usually the only reason some one even attempts to go back is because something went wrong with the mpfi swap lol

A bobby pin works good too at depinning, paper clip also.

Re: mpfi

Im not suggesting replacing the whole plug, just depin the dpfi pins for the injector wiring and stick in some more pins in their place for mpfi- leaving the original uncut, I like the mpfi and dont want to swap back, but of mice and men, that 40 mpg with dpfi is great even if it is slower.

Re: mpfi

Still no need in another plug, just tape up the old DPFI ones if you want to leave them and run new wires all together for your MPFI.

My 2nd mpfi conversion I used a engine harness from a 92-95 civic as my donor. The injectors are actually on their own plug and easy to remove from the rest. I think I'm going to try redoing my white hatch wiring using one of those as well.
