'97 eclipse sypder water pump

looking to get some tips or hints on how to remove the water pump. all the searches i have done are for the passenger side location but this motor is on the drivers side. or its for a DOHC. looks like i need to pull the crank pulley then the plastic cover?? what kind of tool is needed to get the center bolt out of the pulley? whats the torque spec? any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest you go buy a shop manual from the store. They aren't expensive and will come in very handy when workin on the car. It should have everything your looking for in there.

easy, pull the timing covers, and the ps/alt belts... TDS the engine, and pin the timing tensioner, and slip the T-belt off the cam gears. remove the water pump, then do whatever you need, and put it all back. have fun with out a manual. good luck with torques... ;-) i wish you the best.
