How to disconnect panic button

How do I disconnect the panic button (I have no alarm, just a panic button) on the remote. Is there a relay under the hood or do I just need to take a hammer to my remote? 2004 Impala.

Re: How to disconnect panic button

Take the keyfob apart and under the rubber button of the panic part on the circuit board you should see some sliver contacts. Place a piece of electrical tape over the contacts and re-assemble the keyfob.

Then it wont work anymore.
