Galant VR4 Replcament Model : The First Gen Lancer Evolution

Lets talk a bit of history.. The GALANT VR4 is proven too big and heavy for the WRC events. Thus Mitsubishi's engineer decided to use the Lancer platform and transform it to a 4wd turbocharged rally machine. Thus the Lancer Evolution GSR is born replacing the Galant VR4 in rally events. It's a beast!


Galant VR4 is going away soon.. Evo's waiting at the back

I like both these cars! Paint looks smooth and you chose nice colors for them! Galant VR4 is made by hasegawa and if I remember right so is the Evo 1. I had so much trouble doing body prep on the galant that I put it back in the box after half an hour of working on it. I built an Evo 1 many years ago but it ended up looking like a big failure. I still have the totally cleaned up body right now, but I lost it's wheels! I have no idea how to get the Evo1 wheels back since it has long stopped production

kaho, both are from hasegawa. the hasegawa galant vr4 is a superbly hard to clean up model...took me ages to clean the body but still i didn't manage to do a good job. ok, kaho, pm me if you want the evo 1 wheels. i have another evo one kit ( conversion to evo 2 ) so i will be using the evo 3 wheels for the conversion and the evo 1 wheels are useless for me.
