Spout ?
Wandering about the engine trying to figure why it's driving like it has vacuum leaks when we cannot find any... stumbled upon...
88 Crown Vic 5.0 It has no SPOUT plug. Is it necessary? I have no idea how long it has not been there.. I'm assuming it's relatively recent since the connector was taped over with newish looking tape (could be wrong) What is it? Could I just use a jumper wire to replace it? Could it missing cause my car to hesitate, surge, (other vacuum leak sort of driving problems) ? Thanks Fixed! Just removed the connector part and spliced the wires together! Things are awesome now Last edited by humdrum; 10-01-2009 at 11:29 AM. |

Re: Spout ?
With the SPOUT unplugged, your vehicle will stay at base timing. So it can cause your problems. Not positive on the jumper wire. I have never measured rwesistance on tha SPOUT
