Hi there; I just boght a 93 Grand cherokee w/4.0 motor. In the mornings(when engine is cold) if I start, put it in gear and go,,,transmision engages and disengages rapidly, intermint, but if i wait until motor has reached normal oper. temp. then it'll work normally. Any ideas?

Re: My '93 transmision
do you have check engine light on? if not first change you filter and oil and adjust the front and rear band if you want to know were its located and the specified torque listed you have to check in haynes manual for adjusting band you will need a torque wrench and the tranny must be empty so change filter at the same time

Re: My '93 transmision
So after a fluid check, are you still having the issue?
