im havin big troubles! 91 ranger.

i have a 91 ranger, 7 inches of lift, 33s, you know the whole works, but auto tranny went out on me so i put in manual and i need to bypass the nuetral safety switch but the only problem is how?
and second before worked on, motor ran like a champ now will barely start and spudder and wont idle or stay running. never touched anything in the motor area so. help me please....!
