Re: 300hp????

MSD coils and performance wires are a waste of money IMO, as stock OEM/AC-Delco wires and coils are good to over 7k rpm so there's really no performance gains there. The pulley, PCM, headers, hi-flow cat including a u-bend delete, and colder heat range plugs should get you close to 300hp and still be daily driveable.

Re: 300hp????

First step, sell your GTP.

Second step, buy a VR4.

J/k of course, VR4's are overpriced, needy cars.

Smaller pulley with full supporting mods I would believe would be able to net 300hp. What is stock pulley size? 3.6"? Exhaust and intake mods really wake up forced induction cars.

I agree on the coils.

Although, you're going to need some pretty extensive mods to get that GTP to have 300 wheel HP.

Stock its rated for 240, real world wheel horsepower is probably only about 200 (and thats pushing it).

stock pulley is 3.8"

i say 3.4" pulley, T-stat, downpipe, PCM, colder plugs, CAI, u-bend delete

you'd def be pushing 300HP

if you wanna make sure you have well over 300HP, get yourself a 3.25" pulley along with an intercooler. of course i would suggest having an on board KR monitering system if you go that route.

edit: this is CRANK hp that i am reffering to. Tim makes a good point.

Re: 300hp????

When racing traction control should usually be turned off. I am not sure how you plan on racing but just be safe whatever you do.
