Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

Nice progress, im working on this one also. The mirrors are actually a more lighter color. Almost like a flourescent. Your masking came out better than mine. Also when you start decaling, the black arrows. If i was you i would cut out the yellow and white and keep just the arrows. As they don't match that good, learned the hard way. Might be harder to match up where they go, but it will come out better.

Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

Nice work there Supermele I have those kits in the waiting plus three more with other liverys(PM Magazine,ATS/Fujitsu & Irmscher Motorsports) so I have alot on my plate just now but can't wait to get stuck into them.Yeah I would also cut out the yellow and white from the decals it might even be easier to cut out the chevrons individually so they will apply alot easier! but it looks good with the zero paints so far...keep it up.

Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

I would also spray some smoke on your rear spoiler just to take the brightness off there!

Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

Nice work so far, i found that kit to be quite tricky, esp the doors. Mine only lasted about a week before they fell apart, i didnt want to use superglue for fear of "foging" the window.
Cant wait to see what happens next

Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

@ da ashman: Havent had any problems yet with my build sport version, hope it stays that way

Anyway, update time:

Decals are on...

Find the difference between left and right

Started off wrong, placed the grey arrows last. Result: not enough room to fit the last grey arrow on the right...
Ah well, its something i can live with

Doorhandles just need some more sol treatment...

Re: Opel Astra Team Phoenix

Nice shine. But i noticed you put the decal on (opel.motorsport) on the door frame. Those parts are sopposed to be black, actually carbon and not body color.
