2003 buick rendezvous brake noise
I just changed the front brake pads on my 2003 buick rendezvous. I have a small squeak that has not turned into loud squeak just while driving... Its just on the right side any idea what i did wrong?

Re: 2003 buick rendezvous brake noise
If nothing is rubbing than have the rotors turned. The "glaze" from the old pads needs to be removed for the new pads to function correctly. If that doesn't work you didn't spend enough on pads! Cheap parts = problems.

If it goes away when you step on the brakes turn the rotors.

Re: 2003 buick rendezvous brake noise
Just did my brakes this weekend. Thought I didn't do 'em right 2 months ago because the squeek gets worse with time, and doesn't matter if pedal pressed or not. Found out it was the rear brakes. The parking brake was rubbing the inside of the rotors, put a new rotor and pads on, and adjusted the parking brake "shoe" in just a little bit, now it's nice and quiet. Mike 04 CXL
