97 Camry strut problem?

My 97 Camry's bottom seems to be too easy to hit a speed bump if there is one or more passenger sitting on the rear seat. I was told by one that the shocks were probably worn out. Had it checked and the shocks looked fine.
Maybe strut problem? Any idea? Thanks.

Re: 97 Camry strut problem?

First we need to know more information about your car. How many miles are currently on the car? Are these the original struts and springs? The struts on your car dampen any bumps; the springs hold up the car.

Incidently, your car has struts on all four corners; there are no shocks on your car.
