Need help with wheel baring ?????

I have a '01 1.6L auto trans Accent. I need to change the passenger side front wheel baring. I know some cars barrings need to be pressed in and one would basically need to bring it to a shop to get that done, and some cars you can just pull it out yourself and put the new one in. Can some one tell me what is involved with changing out the wheel baring in my car? Are both sides the same wheel baring? If you know how to do it can you possibly give me some details or pointers?
thanks guys.....

It is a press in bearing. You will need to take the spindle off and take it to a shop and have them press it out and a new one pressed in.

can you tell me how to take off the spindle once you get passed the rodor? I believe you have to remove a couple screws and the brake caliper to get the rodor off ..... right?

Yup, also going to have to remove the axle nut, lower ball joint, and the 2 bolts that hold the spindle to the strut.

I use a different word for F, but yes. Oh, you will need a large socket for the axle nut. I think it's a 33mm, but don't hold me to it. It's been a long time.

The axle is usually seized within the hub. Once everything is loose, you will have to beat the axle out the backside of the hub so you can remove the spindle.

Re: Need help with wheel baring ?????

I am going to try and do this job myself. I found that at Autozone and O'rielly's there is a bearing installer tool you can rent. I am guessing it will be pretty straight forward on use of the tool. Do you have any recommendations on how to get the old bearing out?

You will have to press it out, but have no clue how using one of their tools.

not trying to make your problem worse but i can only ask if you purchased the extended bumper to bumper warranty when you bought the car?
if you did this would be covered @ the dealership.
if not perhaps you can buy the whole assembly from a local junk yard making the repair easier.
