since im not the brightest bulb in the box what is KNOCK RETARD? and i need to know what plugs/wires/t-stat/ i need to go with because i got my 1.0PCM coming soon and a 3.4 pulley

Knock retard is where the PCM retards timing when it detects knock in the engine. This happens most often with too much boost for the octane rating of the gasoline you are using. The higher the octane you use the less likely you will be to get KR although it is possible anytime. It changes the timing to a point where the knock is lessened or eliminated. It causes a loss of power but once the knock goes away the KR will be eliminated and the timing goes back to normal until Knock is detected again.

on the plugs, wires, and t-stat, I'm pretty happy with my setup....
