Alclad II Primer & Microfiller

Hello all,

I just received a bottle of gray primer & microfiller.

Anyone has any experience with that?

Can it be used for automotive paints since it is laquer?

Thanks a lot in advance!

I like it for all of my smaller parts. I had trouble using it on larger parts it went on too dry and fuzzy. It is very thin and probably would not give as much protection against some hotter paints.

I have used it with automotive paints, no problems at all.

It dries very fast and it can produce some dust and sand in the surface because of this, you just have to be careful. Very good primer in my opinion.

It looks very thin from the bottle, do you thin more?

I've always used it just out of the can.

Who makes it? Is it intended for models or 1:1 cars?
