Unhappy '01 Blazer vibration

My 2001 blazer LS has been vibrating for about a month and seems to be slowly getting worse. It's most noticeable when I go above 60mph. Everything in the SUV feels like it is vibrating - the brake pedal, steering wheel, doors, seat...everything. I just had new tires put on and they have all been balanced. I did read that it could possible be my Ujoint, but I'm unsure what that is or how expensive it can be. Does that sound like the right part or are there other suggestions? Thanks

60-70 MPH viberations are usually tires and wheels.
Have tire balance and tires and wheels rechecked.
Was it doing it before new tires?

Re: '01 Blazer vibration

Is this vibration accompanied by a growl/roaring? Does it seem to get better or worse while turning in one direction or the other?
