1998 Mercury Mystique Transmission
Does anyone know how difficult it is to fix a transmission in this car? I have the Haynes manual and it seems pretty involved in it. The car lost all forward gears but still has reverse. It will go if you roll until the rpm's get up high enough for it to go into 2nd gear and when it goes into 2nd, it runs like usual. As soon as it gets below 30 mph it has to roll and buld rpm's until I can shift from 2 to D. This is a auto tranny BYW.
