A/C comes & goes
Vehicle is an '01 GCL w/ 120k mi.
The problem is that the air conditioner will stop blowing cold after driving for a few minutes on hot days. After driving for a few more minutes, it will go back to normal cold air. Its as though the compressor clutch is disengaging for a while. Turning knobs and pushing on/off doesn't bring about a change. Unfortunately, all the instances have been freeway situations with no opportunity to pull over and check to see if the compressor is disengaged as suspected. The coolant low pressure reading is about 36 psi. Any thoughts as to what can cause this? |

Re: A/C comes & goes
Sorry for the late read on this post. Has the problem been solved? Let me know and if not, I'll move this to the Grand Cherokee forum for you.
