Unhappy tranny wont shift into drive

yes i have a 99 olds alero it wouldnt shift into drive everything but that just no drive so i thought it was the tranny bought another tranny and still same thing anyone have any advice please help

At the indicator at the IP cluster does it show you are in drive? PRND321. Does it work manually shifting in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears? D is supposed to be overdrive.

yes the indacatoer says its in drive even if try to shift manualy it doesnt do it and no codes either
