Front Lower Bumper

I have an '02 Windstar that has the grey plastic or polyurethane front lower bumper. It got a dent in it and I was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase a replacement? Also, how easy is it to remove? It appears to just be held on by small sheet looking metal screws along it.

Re: Front Lower Bumper

Not sure how to remove it, I have an older Windstar (96) and my rear bumper wasn't too difficult but who knows what's changed. If you go to ebay and just search "windstar bumper" you should come up with a few replacements though.

Re: Front Lower Bumper

It is pretty easy to remove the front bumper. First you will need to open the screws that go into the bumper that are in the wheel well then there are screws at the bottom of the bumper and then you will need to peel back the inner wheel well fender and stick your hand up there and open 2 8mm (i think they are 8mm cant remember) nuts on each side they are close to the front headlights and then you need to remove both front headlights and pull the front bumper off. Dents are very easy to fix on this bumper. You just need to take a heat gun and heat the back side of the dent and then just take a mallet and hit the dent out. Just dont heat it too much it just has to be warm and the dent will come out. I can put up pictures if I figure out how.
