what would you do?
yeah this place is pretty dead but if anyones still lurking, put in your
 ... about seven months ago i sold a dude an RB20DET over a local site. engine had been sitting for about 4-5 months before i sold it, before then it ran fine in the car before removal. yesterday i get an email from the guy saying he finally installed the engine and its blown, has dropped cylinders and bottom end knock. wtf? i didnt think an engine would be ruined from just sitting around for a while? obviously hes not happy, am i likely to be at fault for this? like i said the engine was fine when i had it running and its been 7 months since he bought it.

dude ask him if he still has the receipt so he can do a warranty exchange. then when he looks at you like wtf then say oh wait theres no warranty bitch what do i look like napa?
seriously its his loss. out of sight warranty. once its out of your sight the warranty is up.
