Service Engine Soon - P0138

Hey Guys,

Yesterday on my way home from work, I got a SES light, P0138 (O2 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2). Cleared it, Today again, P0138. Yesterday was the first time this code has popped up. Last week I put lower intake gaskets in it, and this week it got some new spark plugs, a new air filter, and a new fuel injector.

What is odd is I am running a ZZP O2 emulator because I had a ZZP downpipe and high flow cat installed last summer, and ever since then I was randomly getting a P0420. The O2 sim was installed in March and has been running fine ever since then. Now this P0138 code....

I dont understand. Any one have any ideas? I'm pretty much at my wits end, one thing right after the other.

Tim are you sure the 02 simulator isn't bad? I used one too in the past but I got it from PFYC.com way back when. My Intense PCM module is custom programmed to preclude any and all post CAT 02 sensor DTCs so I don't have to run the simulator anymore.

No I'm not sure its not bad Bob. It sort of irritates me. The thing was 50 bucks, it shouldnt be bad!

Is there anyone with a powertuner that I could ship my PCM to who will wipe out all the post cat O2 sensor codes? (I'll throw in a round of beers) Any Takers?
