Trans rebuild now leaking.Question

My 01 f150 supercrew jus had trans rebuild. Now that ive got it back it is leaking fluid back on the transfer case.I think thats what it is anyway back where the driveshaft ties in.Im not talking bout the seal around driveshaft i mean above a crossbar from one side of frame to other. There are starhead bolts an fluids leakin out on the seam.Question is they say they didnt do anything back there.Like hell my garage floor doesnt lie its nevr leaked a drop. Now its all over flying back on rear end its all over.Do they normally mess with that.DAVE

Re: Trans rebuild now leaking.Question

No, they are not supposed to leak there. The transmission has an oil seal at the rear, in front of the transfer case. Take it back to the transmission shop. They are responsible for fixing it, no question.
