is the lt1 for me?

hi, i am a college guy who is looking for a new car. i thought that i would like the lt1 camaro/firebird. i mean they are pretty cheap and have great power and well just an all around good car. there are some other cars that i am considering like the 3000gt vr4 that is a nice car as well. v6 awd twin turbo. i think that sounds good but i want to hear from people who own these cars like an lt1. what kind of power can i expect? what about handleing? things like that, and also witch would win a stock vr4 ot and lt1 let me know what you think

don't wanna upset any of the fbody ppl here, but I'd take the VR4 in a heartbeat. those aren't as easy to come by. and you can mod the hell out of them for gobs of power.

Personally, I don't like the VR4's. Parts are expensive and they are extremely heavy (over 4,000lbs). Plus, the factory specs on them put out less power than the LT1. Plus, there is nothing like doing donuts and burnouts in an American V8 RWD car.

Re: is the lt1 for me?

first of all the lt1 has much much more power than the vr4. vr4 has better handling and better boost stock but once you get goin about 60 in the lt1 you just take off i went 160 in my lt1 the day i got it...completly sock
