96 accord ex 2.7 Distributor and coil change?

I am going to do a full tune up on my Accord, I have the wires, plugs, distributor cap, and coil. Am I going to run into any issues once I start into this swap? I am good with tools, however not too knowlegable with car parts. Is this switch just a simple unbolt and rebolt job? The plugs and wires I am not concerned about, it is the cap and coil that makes me wonder? This is my only form of transportation and I don't want to be stuck trying to get to the auto parts with no vehicle if I mess up.

Thanks for any help.

No problem these are easy, just make sure you keep the wires to the right spot on the cap.

I do not know about 2.7 motor but for 2.2 and 2.3 this work should not cause you any problems. Just do like jgr7 suggested - one wire at a time.

For spark plugs you need a socket with a rubber boot. It is much easier to fish a spark plug with it out of the hole.

Distributor rotor once did not want to show me its screw. It was out of reach. So I had to start engine once and then stop it.

That is abut it.

Good luck,

Sam
