Turbo Buick Regal Toon

Read a great article on an 87 Buick Regal T-type and just had to do a toon version.

Here's the start of the line work, still have more detailing to go.
Also colored in the driver's arm to see about placement.

Thanks, looks like this one will be white as that's the color of the one in the ref article.
Might try a color change afterwards.

Yup, this one does kind of have that big-wheeled toy car look.

Trying to do a body in white is not going as good as I thought...

on white my wife hipped me to the chroma bump theory

try a little orange between the shadow color and the hilite color

remember white isn't clear

also maybe pull some of the blue out of the grey and see where it takes you. I always struggle early on in pieces...they never look like they're going to work. Push past it, your work is always great, this will be no exception.

Thanks for the help Lemorris and GB, you should give a try next at a white colored doodle.
This one is really making me think about what "white" is as a color and reflective surface.

Did a bit more to the body color (adding some orange too) and started on the wheels.
