Unhappy Backfiring

Iight other than this problem i finally have all the bugs in my car fixed. When im driving down the road doing like 30-50km/h, and kick it into 4th or 5th and give it gas(lugging it) it sumtimes backfires. Its not just when i do that, like when i hit cornes i leav it in 3rd, and hit the gas after i turn and it backfires up until 2000-3000 rpm... What would it be or is this a normal prob...

You have an exhaust leak somewhere. Something fell off the back of a truck and went under my lude and busted a whole in my headers and exhaust. Got it fixed but it backfires now because of a leak in my exhaust manifold.

you might want to replace the dizzy cap and rotor. but more likely it just needs some timing adjustment. do you have access to a timing light gun?

no i dont do it regularily, i did it to check if it was doing anything wrong, cause if u gear down and give it gas it shouldnt backfire, right?
